❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is Nexus Hub?
Nexus Hub is an Azure DevOps extension that adds two intelligent modules to your Azure Boards:
- Backlog IQ — quality scoring of every Work Item using the INVEST framework, plus Feature Quality and Product Outcome rubrics.
- Predictive Analytics — Monte Carlo delivery forecasting (10,000 simulations) using your team's real throughput, with NLP-based outlier detection.
How does the 14-day free Pro trial work?
The Pro trial activates automatically per Azure DevOps Project the first time you open Nexus Hub inside that project. No credit card is required. After 14 days, the project reverts to the Free plan unless you upgrade. Each project gets its own independent trial.
What's the difference between Free and Pro plans?
- Free ($0): 1 Monte Carlo simulation per week, INVEST scoring, Backlog IQ dashboard.
- Pro ($19/month per Project): Unlimited Monte Carlo simulations, AI Semantic Adjustment (NLP risk detection), per-item delivery date forecasting, priority support.
Pricing is
per Azure DevOps Project. You can subscribe to one project and upgrade more anytime.
Is my work item data stored on TRX22 servers?
No. Nexus Hub is built with a
stateless design: work item titles and descriptions are sent to our backend (Hugging Face Spaces, EU region) for real-time analysis, processed
in-memory, and
discarded after the response is returned. We only persist your subscription state (organization ID + project ID + plan tier). See our
Privacy Policy for details.
What permissions does the extension need in Azure DevOps?
Nexus Hub requests two
read-only scopes:
vso.work — read access to Work Items (titles, descriptions, acceptance criteria, history) for analysis.
vso.project — read access to project structure (teams, area paths, iterations) for grouping in dashboards.
We do
not request write access to Work Items.
How accurate is the Monte Carlo forecast?
Forecasts use 10,000 simulations sampling from your team's real throughput history (configurable: 3 / 6 / 12 months). Accuracy depends on data quality:
- Teams with consistent throughput → tight confidence intervals (p50–p85 close together).
- Teams with sporadic delivery → wide intervals (more uncertainty signaled honestly).
The AI Semantic Adjustment adds a multiplier when descriptions contain risk markers like "legacy", "refactor", "spike", or "migration".
Does it support Azure DevOps Server (on-premises)?
Currently Nexus Hub is optimized for Azure DevOps Services (cloud, dev.azure.com). Azure DevOps Server (on-prem) is in evaluation. Contact us if this is a blocker.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Predictive Analytics hub inside your project → click "Manage subscription" in the trial banner → you'll be redirected to the secure Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I use Nexus Hub in multiple organizations?
Yes. Install the extension in each organization separately from the Marketplace. Each organization is independent — separate trials, separate subscriptions per project.
What languages does the AI analyzer support?
The NLP backend supports English and Portuguese (BR) automatically — language is detected per work item using langdetect. Mixed-language backlogs are handled correctly.
How do I report a bug?
Email
contato@trx22.com.br with:
- Azure DevOps organization URL (e.g.,
dev.azure.com/yourorg)
- Project / area path where the issue happened
- Nexus Hub version (shown in the extension footer)
- Steps to reproduce
- Screenshot or short screen recording
Can I request a new feature?
Yes — email us with the use case, the workaround you currently use, and how often it comes up. We publish the public roadmap monthly and prioritize based on customer impact.
